Not exactly what I was expecting to see while looking at knitting stuff, but here's some Prewriting Practice Sheets for Preschool 3-4 year olds.

I never would have thought about having kids trace patterns to practice hand writing movements prior to teaching them actual letter writing.

"Power Wheels power makes you go"

Courtesy of seeing an old Power Wheels car at the estate sale I went to Friday night.

Updated to trivial brain knowledge: Incubation time for old commercial theme to get stuck in brain after years of burial in the noggin: 4-5 days.

My LJ pop-up box that shows when I hover over an LJ icon is now see through and difficult to read.

Grrrrrr

Well, that is technically what has happened to your body when you have a hangover.

From ONE GLASS of alcohol mixed drinkage.

ONE.

I don't get drunk on three glasses at the normal bar/club.

Someone hire Eileen as a bartender.

Please order me about 10 of them so that they may quickly begin carrying out my master plans.

Or at least just help me pare down my to-do list.

Just to pass a little time, I threw in Creepshow 2. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm missing out on seeing Stephen King turn into a moss man by watching #2 instead of #1, but it's been a while since I saw #2 and I still have all of #1 memorized.

I had forgotten that our young creep (not to be confused with a young movie hero) Billy has a running storyline that takes place between episodes. After getting his Creepshow comic, he places an order for some bulbs. The mail clerk insists it's probably just petunias, but our young Billy knows exactly what he ordered: Venus Fly Trap bulbs. You know...for eating meat.

And so far I have accumulated three cases of Berries & Cream Dr. Pepper for my effort.

This is a win-win situation.

Just add coconut rum.

In large quantities.

Yum.

Woooaaaahhhh

Woot got a face lift.

Not sure if I like it, but most of that could be attributed to the gut anti-change feeling.

We'll see how it works out.

I got a mosquito bite.
On my upper thigh.
While wearing pants.
And curled up into a ball watching a movie.

IN THE MIDDLE OF FUCKING WINTER!!

Damned mosquitoes.

I figure anyone who would have an interest in this has already heard of it and/or signed up, but just in case, I felt like passing along this web site that seemed interesting.

There may be a reason why I like both DBMS and BDSM.

I'm just saying.

Google Maps has made changes to its interface. I won't say they are bad, just different, and it will take a while for me to get used to. So far though, I don't like them, but then again it could just be because I hate change.

EDIT: While I'm at it, I also don't like that weather.com has gone from hour-to-hour to 15min-to-15min forecasting. I don't need that level of detail, and whereas I used to be able to see my whole work day on one screen in the morning, I now have to scroll through and then click next to see how the latter half of the day will turn out.

Yeah, I'd rather rant about stupid piddly stuff that's bugging me than go on full assault about more major stress inducers right now.

Ok, I need help to satisfy my kitten urge.

You see, the pups update in a real-time live video stream.

The kittens, though, only update every 15 seconds.

I MUST HAVE MY KITTY STREAM FIX!

Any suggested web pages for me to bookmark?

Voice your opinion about the LJ-User Info page here.

Like the fact that is sucks giant monkey balls.

And no, I'm still not very good with English because: English Not= Math.

Being awake at 5am wouldn't be so bad if I hadn't gone to sleep at midnight and planned to sleep in tomorrow morning.

I haven't been friended by a Russian LJ user/bot, but [livejournal.com profile] geminibalance recently was.

As I noted down in her comments, it would appear that this might possibly be a legitimate LJ as it actually contains blogging posts, unlike all of the other Russian adds I've seen friends mention, but as I can't read Russian I can't be sure. (I'm planning for a friend who's taken a couple years of Russian to perhaps verify this for me.)

I also pointed out, I looked into one of the gadgets on this LJ's user profile page and if you get far enough it will ask you if you want the gadget to be auto-added to your profile page -- all you have to do is provide your LJ name and password.

I doubt I should have to tell this to any of my friends since I try to only harbor those with brains (the tastier for me to eat in case I ever turn into a brain-eating zombie), but I still would not be a good friend if I didn't put it into good ol' plain Engrish for all to see:

AVOID LIKE PLAGUE TEH INFO PAGE GADGET

Or at the very least, verify the coding for it and paste it manually yourself. I'm not bothering to tell you which gadget it was, because that is a moot point and irrelevant if even one of them turns out to be malicious.

Huh?

My weather pixie on my info page is for some reason MIA. There is only an American flag there.

EDIT: 10:00pm and she's back. She must have decided to take a break or something. It was confirmed by a third party earlier, so I know I'm not going insane (much more than the usual insanity plea).

I have a keen interest, don't ask me why because who knows what the hell goes on in my brain, in the breakup of Madonna and Guy Ritchie. I don't usually care one bit about Hollywood dramas, but I have always been interested in Madonna's life and this is just one more chapter that I had to read about and share with all of you (not the least bit interested and could care less) folks.

What do you get when you combine a tablet PC, a PDA, and a cell phone?

The I-mate K-JAR.

Input method: - Sensor touch screen/stylus - Hard keys - Keyboard - Joy stick

Wait - did that just say Joy Stick?
