2nd job is still hectic, but we now have phones, internet, computers, desks, and coffee (the essential ingredient).

I have decided that I HATE Frontier Communications, and I've only been dealing with them for the past two weeks. The problem is that I have been dealing with them nonstop for the past two weeks regarding stuff that we thought should have been done a month ago. I called National Telesystems and they came to the rescue. They got our phone lines fixed (couldn't dial out), redesigned the electrical board for all the boxes (Frontier managed to mount the modem so you can't slide it out of its mount to get the internet info off the bottom of it and didn't bother mounting the surge protector and internet switch but just left them precariously perched on top of other equipment) and set up our phones, voice mail, and music on hold all within a day, and I had only called them two days prior.

Geek Squad also came out to set up all our computers, because I didn't have the time to do so, and really it's one of those things that I hate having to do, remove unwanted junk, install wanted programs, set up printers. Ugh. It's just ugh work that I don't like doing. Luckily National Telesystems and Geek Squad were there at the same time and worked with each other to fix the lack of outbound calling fuck up created by Frontier. I was grateful. The Geek Squad guy was pretty cute, too. So yeah, I was probably being a little flirty.

We're slowly but surely getting log in info for all our vendors and accounts and bears, oh my. I finally got in touch with the (official) accountant to finalize our Chart of Accounts so I can get it entered into Quickbooks and then match that up with the Price Guide and get that all entered into Excel so that I can import it into our dispatching system. The order that things must flow in order to function is sometimes maddening. Bosslady is bringing me signature cards for our bank accounts so I can finally log in to those and start comparing them with Quickbooks, and I at least now have a contact person for our payroll, but that person still hasn't called me back, so twiddling my thumbs on that front.

Anyway, lots of stuff happening to keep me busy.

And then I have a huge stack of invoices to get entered and year-end tax stuff to process at my other regular full time job. So that's staying busy as well.

And then there's this sleep schedule that I'm not fond of and that is doing its best to doom me to eternal sluggishness.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
