Phone call from my mom

Phone calls from my mom never go as expected. Never.
So mom has been trying to talk with me the past 24 hours, and I always know when something is up that's important based on how she sounds when trying to meet with me, leaving a voice mail for me, etc. There is some kind of family news going on that at least doesn't have her in tears, so at least I know that no one has died.
My sister is pregnant, again.
Now, this is one of those SERIOUSLY, WTF things, because my sister had her tubes tied after nephew number two was born. Apparently, she's one of the "lucky" ones whose tubes grew back.
*head fucking desk*
Anyone have some baby boy stuff they don't need?
Oh, and there actually is a somewhat good news to this. Sort of. Kind of. We shall see. This child will be the progeny of Baby Daddy #2 who at least seems pretty bright, respectful of my parents, and who comes from a family very similar to my own and who is already going to the library to pick out baby names. Yes, that in and of itself is in fact a bright side of the coin.
I cannot get enough of this reaction: *headdesk, headdesk, headdesk*

There might be a chance this kid actually grows up in a semi-family home environment. We shall see.
