All Hell Broke Loose

So, it was a good try, but 1.3 inches means we didn't beat our seasonal goal for snow (DFW Airport recordings). Rats. Of course, the question came up of whether or not the first day of spring counted as still being part of the winter seasonal goal as far as snow is concerned, especially for our neck of the woods.

However, I don't think I've ever heard of so many casualties as a result of such a small amount of snow in the DFW area. One of them sadly sounds more like a comedy skit routine to be played out by Charlie Chaplin or something:

"At least one person was killed after walking away from a car accident ... the man was struck by another vehicle, knocking him off the overpass onto the freeway below."

I feel sorry for his female companion that probably witnessed it.
