Our company owner was planning to refurbish our new office with new desks.

He got us four of these with the promise that this was just the beginning of his refurbishing plan:
Sauder Officeport Collection Executive Desk, Maple 400415
(The funny part was that on the outside of the box it gave the dimensions - with the depth only being 9.5" - I recalculated it from the given cm and it's a normal sized desk, but that was still an interesting quip.)

I talked with him and told him that executive desks are for executives. We are paper pushers and need more workspace.

We made a deal and I went shopping with approximately the same budget as what he spent on these desks. I found these:
Realspace Soho™ Broadstreet Contoured U-Shaped Desk
with detachable penis (sorry, couldn't resist), standalone third U piece

I also talked him into letting me get the optional hutch for each desk:

I can't wait for them to arrive. :)

Well, I do have the USB Rocket Launcher (http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/warfare/8a0f/), so I think I'm ahead of the game.

BTW, our office is set up like a labyrinth. We could totally run a warfare game in here.
