Dad took Little Bit to Comic Con Dallas last month. They purchased some pictures and a souvenir shot glass for my sister and me. I haven't seen hers, but they tell me it has etched hearts on it. Mine is black with etched scaredy cats. I thought it was some sort of spider at first (although that image there is an obvious spider), because of how it's drawn as line figures of the two cats with their tails back-to-back. The boys had to point out how it was scaredy cats, and then I could see them.

As a quick aside, there sure are a lot of Cthulhu related etched shot glasses out there.

What made Dad's day, though, was getting to meet Robert Patrick (aka The T-1000). Dad's a HUGE movie buff and used to buy Leonard Maltin's Movie Guide every couple years and read it like it was a reading book. When they finally made their way to get an autograph, Dad and Robert started talking like old chums for a while. Mom was telling me the story, saying that Robert got up and shook Dad's hand and motioned to his buddy at the table with him, "See? Now that's the kind of guy I like. This man knows every movie I've ever been in!"

So, we now have that signed picture (along with a few others) to place next to the photo Dad once got with David Carradine (another one of Dad's long-time fan crushes).
