Jun. 8th, 2014 12:08 pmI WAS going to stop by after my class to show my nephews a couple episodes of Firefly. Mom watches Castle, and I caught an episode the other day while over there and found out for the first time they have Adam Baldwin (aka Jayne) as a recurring character now. That sparked a mini squee from me, and then I had to explain the significance to Mom, which led me to realize that showing the boys Firefly would be an excellent idea.
But, then I see that Maleficent is playing in the theaters, and I haven't seen the boys in weeks, so I think it would be wonderful to have a full-theater day instead of just a movie night at the house. My schedule at work is changing, and I won't be able to make it to class on Fridays for the foreseeable future, so that does mean I can start having Friday night movie night with the boys again. So, next Friday, we'll start up Firefly and see what they think of that. We still need to finish the original Battlestar Galactica as well, so I'm thinking I might plan it out that we watch 2 episodes of Firefly and one of BSG.
