Lotsa Random Updates

The main problem with trying to organize my favorite YouTube vids into playlists is that I get side-tracked and end up adding more videos than I managed to get organized in the first place. I'm slowly but surely making headway.
Mom had good news for me today. They are getting my grandmother enrolled into Bishop Davies Nursing Center which is all of two minutes away from my parents' house. She's been living in an apartment in an assisted living center for a few years now, but it's not equipped for full-time 24/7 care. Hopefully they'll be able to get all of the paperwork processed by as early as tomorrow, and my grandmother can be moved this weekend. That means instead of other Saturday plans (which had already changed once this week), I'll be busy packing things up at her apartment, regardless of when the paperwork actually goes through.
What else?
I'm putting together a 1000-piece Anne Stokes edition puzzle. This one is to complement the previous puzzle that I have already put together and have stored under my bed. Both were early birthday gifts last year from Eileen that she picked up while at A-Kon. I'm hoping that they used the same cutting stencil throughout this series, because then I will be able to meld the two into some interesting kind of new image.
Ok, WANT. I think if everyone pitched in $20 towards this year's birthday, I might be able to afford to buy 1/3 of that puzzle.
Eileen reminded me (and a few others) today of the Antique Science & Retro-Tech Show & Swap Meet. If you like gadgets or science or both, then you should mark this on your calendar.
Today, I learned that there is a difference between calendar and calender, neither of which are to be confused with colander (which I already knew, but some people don't).
John is tempting me to move into an abandoned building in Sheffield. Nothing that a little push broom and a fresh coat of paint can't fix up.
