annnd the White House is already saying that the President* never said it was and any suggestion otherwise is fake news...

Which I suppose is better than insisting it is somehow, because he said so.

The level of gaslighting from this presidency is equivalent to a world-wide stink bomb + tear gas being flushed down our international toilet bowl EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Does it count as gaslighting if it's so bloody obvious? I mean, it's about on par with a toddler insisting they didn't steal the cookies when they've got chocolate smeared all around their face and are holding the remains of one.
