I liked this article about testing the sitting versus standing desk styles.

I like that they come to the same conclusion I have come to from all the differing activities and work styles I've had over the years: standing is more productive (and from the studies, healthier) than sitting all day, but sitting has its purpose, especially when needing to relax and/or focus.

I do find it interesting that sitting covers both relaxing and focusing, as those almost seem like opposite ends, but I think the point for both is to relax the stress so that the mind can do its magic, versus rote doing that seems to prosper most when standing.
