I woke up Thanksgiving Thursday with a slight fever, my sinuses and throat killing me, and my body aching. The fever and body aches have mostly subsided, but I'm also sleeping most of the day away for the past couple days.

I have an appointment this week with a GI specialist. Now that we've ruled out heart problems as the cause of my chest pains, we're going to look at the esophagus. I do have stomach migraines for sure, and I'm starting to have a lot more random acid reflux, so it will be nice to talk with the specialist about those, even if we can't find anything else regarding my esophagus.

I've had one stomach migraine occurrence this past month and no torso cramps. Admittedly, I think I'd rather have the stomach migraines, because although they hurt just as much, they're highly predictable in their pattern and only last a certain length of time, whereas the torso cramps I never know how long they are going to last. The predictability seems to help ease my mind despite the level of pain.

Now to hope I can stop having this head and upper respiratory cold by the time I have my appointment, otherwise I'm going to have to reschedule, and I'd rather hurry up and get this appointment over with.
