In the comments of the previous drone footage of heavy snow fall, the creator of the video states that this is why he's not going to work today.

Not sure how well that configuration would handle sideways gusts... the scale-model drone seemed a bit wobbly outside.

Still, something like that but a tri-copter design with one fan up front and two behind would probably work... either way, looks a whole load of fun.
