That's a horrible analogy, and what a dis to the Prius.
Also, it wasn't an "unfamiliar leap" to Windows 8. It's that Windows 8 looks like a piece of crap made for a 2 year old with all those stupid tiles everywhere. Ah, reminds me of the good ol' days. (Yes, I had an IBM PS/1)
