The boys were an interesting pair at the antique mall yesterday. The younger of the two did exactly as I figured and was all ADHD the whole time until he got sleepy and clingy and bored. The elder was really into asking me what things were and what they were for. Half the time he'd be on his own looking at things while I wrangled the younger to put something down that I knew for sure he'd accidentally break, and the other half he was also wrangling his brother to keep him from running into something or tripping over something or running into some unsuspecting shopper.

I think I'll have to take the elder back out there on his own one of these days. He was really into it, and having my undivided attention would be nice.

They were each able to pick out a gift $20 or under. Despite all the things they looked at, they opted for pocket knives.

The boys know I like to take them to neat and interesting restaurants, but they insisted on McDonald's for dinner. Oh well.

After that I had to assemble their gifts from my trunk, as much to my surprise they were not already pre-assembled. They were table top air hockey and foosball games. Mom also cornered me to figure out what was wrong with little-bit's computer getting on the wireless network, and then she wanted me to look at the instructions she got for fixing her own laptop. I was dead tired and completely couldn't be bothered with the last request.
