Shit. Reading this article is depressing. I get the point of it, and I agree, but knowing when you are far BELOW that magical happiness ceiling really does put things into perspective.

Lol. Yes an office cat would improve things. But mostly what I dislike about my job is that I just truly don't care about anything we do, and therefor, anything I do. It's a means to a paycheck.

My enthusiasm used to be such that I would tweak my systems endlessly. I would run multiple OS's. I would take pleasure in compiling my own software.

And you best believe I would have rooted my phone by now.

But these days, meh. I just want shit to do what it's supposed to and not make me put in any effort.
