It's very strange how all of the work I did over the past 6 months has managed to come to fruition by me actually being able to apply my own lessons learned to help others around me.

The most interesting aspect of this is how differently I'm approaching the helping mechanism. It used to be I would assume that I knew all the answers and that I knew what others' motivations and thoughts were. Now I'm a bit more careful to understand that all I can see are similarities, and all I can talk about are things that worked for me or those involved in the situations with me. It doesn't mean that what worked for us will work for someone else, but they do provide a hefty amount of food for thought to those working through their own issues.

I've also fully implemented the mantra: I can't help you, but I can help you help yourself.
