I read this on Lollie's website:
Turn off the pain either by changing your perception or changing what you're doing.
This has come in really handy for figuring out a few things, and more specifically, letting go of a couple of things. I was having quite a lot of difficulty with shaking off some badly-colored perceptions, and this helped with those as well. I just had to remind myself of how much pain those perceptions have been bringing me.
Wallowing in pain does not ease the pain.
On a completely unrelated note, I'm really quite tired of not being able to go to sleep at night right now. My brain just refuses to shut down, even after taking a Benadryl. Sleep dep at work sucks.
