I've had car insurance with Progressive now since 1996, ever since State Farm kicked me off due to excessive claims*. This year I qualify for a five-year accident free continuous insurance (DIAMOND LEVEL - oooooh) and three-year safe driving discount out the wazoo.

Hoo-fucking-ray for a $300 annual discount off my insurance from last year.

I may get to keep my XM radio after all - we shall see :)

*That was funny because not only did they kick me off, but my parents' proof of car insurance actually said, "Excludes Nicole". I was not covered on their insurance as a driver AT ALL.

I will PAY MORE for an insurance carrier that isn't made of stupid. State Farm may have been cheap, but paying out of pocket for services and waiting for them to reimburse was made of suck. I love me some Progressive!

(And motherfuckin' HATE Geico. They still to this day want me to pay 5k every six months.)

None. That's what they wanted me to pay with a CLEAR DRIVING RECORD. To this day I have no idea why, especially as I'd been their customer through my parents and they knew who the hell I was.

I noticed I was in Prog's Diamond Club the other day. Explains why my premiums keep going down and not up in spite of 2 accidents in the last few years (Oregon's a no-fault state)
