I ended up going home from work early on Thursday because I really wasn't feeling well from the whole sinus thing. Despite my better judgement (I have one?) I went out to The Church. I was fine so long as I didn't dance which was unfortunately my one reason for going. I danced to two songs and wanted to keel over after each one. Despite having many drinks I only had a nice buzz. Dr. Morbius decided to tell me that he has been infatuated with me (his words, not mine) since he first met me and I for some reason felt it a good idea to kiss him. Better judgement out the window again. This can only get bad.

I took the day off from work on Friday. I was feeling only slightly better with my sinuses and ended up spending most of the day asleep. Me + Benadryl = passed out more than a drunk, which is really not a good combination for work.

I left my debit card at the club and have tried multiple times to get up there to get it. I am naked without it. Unfortunately, the weather and circumstances have been against me. I almost made it Saturday night, but all of the exits into DT Dallas were blocked by accidents and I did not have enough gas in the car to trust getting from Greenville into downtown and then getting home to [livejournal.com profile] mr_rubix's since all routes out of Dallas and back home were also blocked by major traffic jams.

Looks like I will again be missing APL poker game next weekend just as I did yesterday. I must go see Steve Poltz play. So the next poker night will have to be March 5 - I will also have to see how I feel for that one since that is right after moving day and CP2020 gaming. A nice game of poker Sunday night might actually be quite nice. I need to see when the games are at Lonnegan's since that will be closer for me once I move, although I do like the Fox and Hound location.

Yeah!
