Speaking of my jaw
Feb. 13th, 2011 08:39 amI'm to the point that I know something is seriously wrong with the right joint, as in, not just your typical TMJ. The sad thing is, I know the only viable next step would be an MRI of the joint. I'm hoping that it's just causing this much trouble for me right now because of my sinus infection issues that I've had since last week, since sinuses are so closely connected to the jaw and any pressures could be having an effect.
If I go to stretch my arms and I bend my head just slightly, the right jaw seizes. It hurts to yawn, chew, talk, and lay certain ways. Even while just sitting here at the computer there is a throbbing pain that doesn't seem to want to subside. I've been taking pain killers right and left the past week or so and felt in pain enough I took two Valium last night hoping it would relax the muscles. I still woke up two times during the night specifically cursing the jaw.
The left side is still just popping regularly, but isn't causing any noticeable pain.
Between my jaw and recent hip issues, I'm not a happy kitty. :(

Date: 2011-02-13 07:30 pm (UTC)I've got stuff that is too small to work properly. My jaw vis-a-vis my skull. My eustachian tubes, apparently. Also, some of my girl bits.
