Playing Personal Assistant

My co-worker D is going to his wife's graduation, um, right now. Of course, before he left he was asking me to help him get flowers for her. I tell him to go jump on his computer and order some. No, he wants to take them to her at the graduation, so I tell him to stop at a grocery store and give him the names of a couple that are on his route.

But she doesn't like flowers. *headdesk*

So I tell him don't get her flowers if you know she doesn't like them. Then what should he take; he's supposed to take something, right? I ask whether or not they already have after-grad party plans. Nope. Fine, then you will take her to sushi or fondue - but I already know she doesn't like sushi, so you will take her to fondue (and I already know she was upset that she didn't get to make it to my fondue party I threw a couple months ago). Will there be other people there? Yes, family. Then count how many, here's the fondue place phone number, and make a reservation. But I don't want to pay for everyone. Then I guess you'll have to tell them that, now won't you?
