Weekend Recap

trickykittyI can't even recall what I did Friday night. Oh wait. I think I just vegged on the computer that night organizing my YouTube favorites and starting a spreadsheet for the record albums I have here at the house. Oh yeah - and I also finally bought the long album version of Oingo Boingo's Insanity. That mp3 is going to get the crap listened to it.
Saturday, I was lazy and did not see the chiro. Instead I took my time getting ready, then made a mad dash to Target to buy baby shower and xmas gifts. Then was my sister's baby shower, then waiting at home and waiting at the hotel for the work party to start. I made off with a bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon with two glasses, a small bottle of Jose Cuervo Especial, and a Home Depot gift card for Tom. (The tequila was traded from Jagermeister, which I know would have otherwise just sat on the counter forever. At least with the tequila we might actually make a dent in it on occasion.) I also won 4th place in gambling and picked up a Blue Ray player, but since we have 2 PS3s and an XBox360, I gave it to Anthony as his xmas gift. After the party I chatted a bit with John and got him started on Mirror Mask, which I fell asleep during the first 30min of from being so exhausted.
This morning Debra called me about today's plans and roused me from my happy deep sleep. :P So, I got up, invited John to head out with me, grabbed some breakfast, and toasted our fannies on my car seat heaters while driving to my office to pick up some boxes. While waiting for Debra, BJ and Jeremy to arrive I began cleaning the foyer for the bunk bed. Then I took over vacuuming the living room - for the next couple of hours. I was being thorough (aka OCD). I finally managed to get the goop off of the patio table glass which took a while as well. Dinner was going to be sushi, but the place was closed (they need to update their web page), so we had Mongolian Grill instead. I then helped Debra pack some more boxes and started organizing the leftover smaller stuff that she still had in her apartment.
I'm dead tired. Tomorrow's going to be a loooooong day. I'm already an hour late getting to bed.
Oh looky. We have heat again! Yay!!!
