What a season

Wow, waking up to drizzling rain. I had forgotten what that was.

It was mentioned that there will be a cold front coming through on Saturday. (I haven't seen the weather forecasts, so I don't know for sure.) We may actually have a bit more (consistent for at least a full 24 hours) cold weather before winter is actually over. That's also a rare thing these days.

I hate it when everyone else around is sick. I wish there was more that I could do to make it go away. I can at least offer food and company.

To all the flu carriers - get well soon.
To all the non-flu carriers - don't get sick.

I hope everyone has a good weekend despite the rampant illness. I really want to try to head down to Shreveport, but with the apartment stuff going on this weekend, I'll have to play everything by ear.

Because, while I am feeling quite decent, the weather and NERO are not getting along very well so it is ever more unlikely I will be out camping tonight. Won't know for sure until I talk to Trey at 8:30 tonight but I throw out the option just in case.

No plans for this or tomorrow evening. I get off work tonight around 8pm. Amateur (no money:free) poker is Sunday night. I enjoyed it two weeks ago. First time I had ever played with people I didn't know.

I doubt I will be going to Shreveport until I get the full-time job, meaning maybe next month. That will also hopefully mean nicer weather as well. I get off work too late Friday to head down with the guys, don't really want to gamble with my money at the moment, and I really do want to hurry up and get the apartment thing settled. So I'm pretty sure I will stay here. I really do want to go, but just like the last time they went, there are just too many other obstacles in the way.

So other than Saturday morning lease signing, I have no plans.

PS - I am always up for doing things - anything. That's why I end up at K&E's so much and will be happy to be living with people again. There will always be little times in there for just me and only me, but otherwise I don't like being alone.

And I will always be up for movies. I love movies.

Yes. Even if I do go, although I'm beginning to doubt it, I'm pretty sure I'll still be back in time for the poker and do plan on going. 7pm, right?
