I walk into work and the executive pulled me into his office.

I'm being offered a full-time job at the pay rate that I've been out interviewing for. They want me to stay here that badly.

Is Friday night. Still not 100% sure as I am still swamped with work, and that is only getting worse, but really would enjoy the diversion. It is at the Syn Bar on greenville and a nice side note - ladies get in free.

Hell, if that's the case then I can take Smokey to work that night. Hm, the Syn Bar you say. So what exactly is the gig, because I know of the bar kind of well and haven't wanted to go in it.

Well, I am the opposite of you then. Don't know anything about the bar, but know the DJ. He was a DJ at the Church a LONG time ago, also don't know if you ever made it out to the Lighthouse in Ellum, but that was his gig also (very cool!) and there was a brief stint at some place by Bar of Soap.

Anyway, it is always fun to go to his gigs because he tends to play a wide variety outside of the normal every week line up at the Church.

hey stranger! how the heck are you?

I am thinking on Fridays it shouldn't be too bad - Byron has been doing his gig there since 12/23 and I have a hard time seeing the demographic that Nikki referenced hanging around too long with the music he spins lol.

But if I am able to convince her to go out, I definitely will have to twist her arm to do the driving as I have consumed very little ETOH in the past 3 months or so, and me behind the wheel post night out at a club would not be a very wise decision...
