Sushi Video

So, I have been seriously craving sushi A LOT recently and now I'm wondering how much it would cost to start making it at home. Cue the OCD searches for sushi-making kits and videos. I found some really great professional videos, but this one had me rolling on the floor laughing the entire time.

It will only take you fifteen seconds to understand the source of my laughter.

Make a party of it. We've done it a couple of times and it's kind of fun.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. If I had a pasta maker (and knew how to make pasta), I'd also like to through a Homemade Spaghetti Party.

There's a kitchen appliance for everything, and next to none of them are actually necessary. My grandmother and I used to mix our own dough, roll it out in sheets with a rolling pin, cut strips fettuccine-style, and hang them over a wooden dish rack to dry.

Making pasta is pretty easy. I've done it a number of times. Just go to any recipe website and look up pasta. My favorite is a spinach pasta that you make in the food processor. It's insanely easy, and it gets Ashton to eat something green!

Speaking of spinach

My food fetishes as of recently (in the past month or two while trying out various changes to my diet): avocado/guacamole, salad spinach (versus canned), hummus in large doses, and sushi

BTW - glad to see you somewhat posting more these days. :) I really should come by to visit more often. I should at least say hi to the munchkins once every 5 years or so.
