Brought to you because
my_window_seat just HAD to mention Paranoimia.
I'm really hoping that Fry's has My Favorite CGI EVAR(tm) on dvd so that I may purchase it. I still remember all the Coke commercials and saving up red Coke tabs and bottle tops just to go stand in line till the cows came home (seriously, we were in line ~1.5 hours - I think we were insane) at a center station in the mall waiting to turn those tabs in and get 7-Up Spot and Max Headroom memorabilia. I remember getting a Max Headroom t-shirt and a plushie 7-Up Spot that when unzipped was inside-out reversible into a plushie 7-Up can. Ah those were the days.
Going back and watching Max vids, I'm still amazed at how well the computer geeks of the day were able to capture some of the characteristic Matt Frewer facial expressions that became Max Headroom trademarks, like his head tilted back, mouth open, Bwahahahaha whisper-silent laugh. You know, Matt Frewer was, to me, the original Jim Carey. Jim sort of took the concepts Matt created and turned them into monstrosities.
I can't recall if I ever picked up a copy of Max's famed poster.

As an aide, can anyone tell me if Alice was any good and worth my time and effort to watch?
