It all started with a search for a basic black velvet zippered coin pouch. I have one that I (used to) take with me to the clubs and is just the right size (4.5" x 3.5") to hold ID, debit card, some cash, lipstick, a lighter, and a spare car key. Everything I needed to get through a night at the club. The zipper on it has gotten off track, so for fun I figured I'd look around to see what I could search for before begging friends to take a stab at the zipper.

Yeah, I could still use help with the zipper if someone is able.

Anyway, I just felt like sharing the wonderful links I came across in the process.

Purses - made of various materials, but the ones made from recycled ties are awesome.

I was reminded of Chadwicks and got giddy with that black and white dress on the front page, only to be horribly disappointed that it is no longer available. Boooooo. I was just commenting yesterday that I don't have any good long-sleeved dresses that I can wear (to work, or in yesterday's case, a memorial).

I followed this link to see the little black and white pouch in the hopes that I could see other versions - look at those marvelous newsboy caps!

DIY pouch from ties project

Haunted Pouch - I don't get what appears to be the back of this pouch, but I love the front and inside.

So many pretty links

Black velvet knee highs - just not sure about the tops of them

I could cheat and get some form of a rosary pouch - or by that token a dice bag

Electric Gravy Warmer that actually looks like a nice altered crock pot - at only 18oz though, it wouldn't be worth keeping warm around my family - the gravy would be gone in the first round of helpings

I still get quite a kick out of the toaster and egg poacher - I'm actually highly tempted to get one of these and stop going to McDonald's every few mornings

I love this ice crusher.
