Ok, I upgraded Firefox. When I [middle] click to open a link in a new tab it now opens to the immediate right, instead of to the far right of all previously opened tabs. Either I'm overlooking an option to change that or it doesn't exist. So there's something new to get used to.

Also, LJ has bubbled up it's little button icons. Apparently a lot of people believe that icon pics should be made to look like it's in some 'toon dream state, with a little extra fuzziness to the picture.

donkey shins

The funny thing was I had once tried out an add-on to allow that exact feature (opening to the immediate right), but decided against it.

Since I've been using Chrome a lot more lately (Firefox takes so fucking long to load anymore that more often than not I can't be bothered), I hadn't noticed this yet. Since I do still on occasion use it, thank to both of you for the heads-up and the fix.

Not sure what you mean with the icons, though.

The icons may depend on your layout. When I'm on my friends page (with my gray, blue, black layout) and I click "link", then I'm taken to that person's post and all of the attached comments, but it's still in my own layout. At the top of the post are buttons for edit post (if it's my own post), edit tags, add to memories, etc. Those are the buttons I'm talking about. The default icons on them have changed.
