Typing Aphasia
I hate when I type out the wrong words.
I think just about everyone will be typing along so fast that they get "they're" and "their" and "it's" and "its", etc. wrong without meaning to and knowing damn well which is the grammatically correct one to use.
In this instance, though, I was thinking to type the word "directly". I typed "firstly". After backspacing and trying again I typed out "direction".
Yep, typing aphasia. That's got the be the most appropriate terminology for it. It's not a generic typo, and it's not fumbling fingers like "teh" and "liek" and "ahve" (all of which I'm also known to do on a regular basis). I got the words that I typed out spelled correctly. They were just the completely wrong words.
I cannot wait until they can hook my brain up to the computer so that my digits can be used solely for putting together jigsaw puzzles and solving Sudokus, because this typing thing is for the birds.
No offense to the birds.
