Very cool, but the so-called underground wonder involving "Tokyo, Japan" is a load of crap. Or at the very least, dude was not paying attention- at least one of the pix associated with that one is of the Super Kamiokande, a well-known neutrino detector in Gifu Prefecture. And the sad thing about the article is that the Super Kamiokande IS a pretty wonderful underground construction! Read about it here, and then try to tell me it isn't kool: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super-Kamiokande
I love that they listed the Denver Airport again as "mysterious."
I first heard of this when I was living in Boulder in 2000. Even did a FLEM storyline making fun of it, once I discovered the truth:
Yes, DIA is chock full of Masonic and strange art, sigils, painted mottoes, etc. No, it's not a mystery. I looked up the microfiche from the Denver newspapers the day DIA was opened.
DIA WAS BUILT BY MASONS. The idiots in the crowd will immediately scream that this is proof of how OCCULT and SINISTER this fact is, until I point out how many other buildings are built by Masons in modern times. Things like libraries, restrooms at baseball fields, gas stations, etc. Of course, then the idiots scream that this is ALSO proof that the Masons are taking over, and I have to hit them with an axe handle upside the head.
There's no secret. The opening of DIA was a very public affair, and almost 1000 local Masons showed up in their white aprons to dedicate the place. It wasn't a secret. It wasn't a conspiracy. The problem is that Masons have become this crazy group, in the eyes of the nutjobs, who secretly control the government and are planning the downfall of modern civilization, and aren't just fat dudes named Bob who follow a kooky belief and know how to build a structure pretty damned well.
Nobody is trying to hide the facts. (http://flydenver.com/diabiz/info/research/facts.asp) The problem is that these fucking dunces see the creepy mural (saw it in person in 2002, gotta admit, it is creepy), the masonic symbols, and are too fucking stupid and lazy to look any of it up. They'd rather concoct fairy tales about underground tunnels and lizard-men aliens.
