A real testament

I like that this little article goes a long way to show how the female body comes in all different sizes, and why the runway model outfits don't always fly in the real world.

A real woman in...Victoria Beckham's dress

The 'tester' gal is a thousand times hotter than Vick the stick Beckham.

I really don't like the statement of 'real woman' though. Beckham is just as much a woman as the second one is. So what, she's chosen to focus on her figure. She probably diets and exercizes and I bet she has some natural geniology working for her too. That doesn't make her a fake woman. It just aggrivates the divide in our gender. I was hated on, and still am for my figure by some women. It hurts me and makes it harder for me to enjoy my appearance. Please, let's love all our gender, even the impossibly thin ones, and not designate what is a real and what is a fake figure.

True - the "real woman" is in the title of the article. I wanted to try and make sure I didn't personally put down "the runway model body" in my own commentary on the article. I was paper thin growing up as well, and titles like "stick figure" and "totem pole" actually hurt when you eat like a pig but just have a high metabolism to keep up with it.

I do like the dress comparison in general, though. It's one of the reasons I also like watching Tim Gunn's Guide to Style. He puts each woman's body through a computer and shows what styles work with their bodies and what styles don't.

I think you would look awesome in Beckham's dress, btw. ;)
