Leg warmers?

Did I hear leg warmers?

*runs off to new browser tab to go shopping*

...

*manages to find porn* (look carefully, and as the name implies, NSFW when blown up full size)

Even the ones that the model's not, you know, naked in are totally porn shots. Jeez. I am both horrified and impressed.

Also, you have totally just cleared up the outfit the cheerleader-girlfriend is wearing in The Academy Is...'s About A Girl video, so I think that my life has just come full circle.

LOLOL

Good thing I wasn't actually drinking something while watching that video just now.

Their videos are so painfully earnest that they make me lol. If that is, of course, not what you're talking about, feel free to tell me, because I delight in laughing at William Beckett.

I was laughing at both the reminders of junior high and high school flooding my brain while watching, as well as seeing what you meant about how my post related to it all. I died at the unzipping scene.

Painfully earnest, I tell you!

But yes. That unzipping scene is just like "...REALLY? This is the best you could come up with?" But hey, now I'm not at least thinking I'll never know what's going on with that outfit again. So I will probably never watch that bit of it again either.

WATER. IT IS SYMBOLIC.

I've noticed that about American Apparel (that it's more like a pin-up magazine than one for clothes shopping...). But hey, sometimes selling a plain white tank top for $40 calls for drastic measures ;)

Sock Dreams (http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/accessories_cat_CategoryID_71.php) is an AWESOME site for leg-warmers and anything "sock". All the prices include taxes and shipping and handling. I LOVE sock dreams!!!

I saw that site (as the instigator of all this, I feel free to hijack threads *g*) but I am super suspicious of ordering clothing I can't try on, in large part because my tibias (tibii?) are nine billion feet long and I never, ever trust that anything I order will fit. How do those measure up? I might be going to Portland this week in any event, in which case I would try to time it for when their store is open and then I can look.

I'm more addicted to their armwarmers than legwarmers... so I can't speak so much about how the leggies measure up. I know some of their products have two sizes: a "normal" and a "larger". The arm warmers I've bought from sockdreams have been lovely, and would fit most (they're stretchy and comfy).

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely make a point of checking them out, then, they sound worth looking at even if I can't make it to Portland.
