I haven't seen it, but I know better than to think it doesn't exist, but assuming that it doesn't simply because of the basic fact that I haven't seen it yet...

Why hasn't anyone added a voice recorder to a cell phone yet?

Or is it something you could buy as an app for some of the newer systems?

EDIT: So then, I have just never looked for the right phone. Ehn.

I have an application on my iPhone that lets me do voice recording. In addition to that though a little off topic I have a mic I can add to my iPod to make it a voice recorder and I own an Olympus digital voice recorder as well. :D

My LG has a record function (which I immediately used to make a ringtone of Demolition Lovers) that I assume could be used for, at least, short messages, but I don't know how long it will record for. I keep meaning to use it for short notes, but it's easier to just jot them down.

All my previous phones allowed voice memo. Some even allowed you to set the recording as a ring tone. Hence, I had my best friend's R-rated Stitch impersonation as a ring tone for a while: "Ohana means buttsecks! And buttsecks only happens in the behind!"
