If you've never read A Softer World, then you should start, because it is the kind of dark-as-night humor that I know everyone on my flist loves.

I'm absolutely floored, though, and have gained renewed respect for the photographers/authors as they provide the most profound voice of silence regarding last night's election results that I have yet to hear on the internet.

This is how I feel inside, and there are simply no words to express it, yet they managed to capture it in one fell swoop.

In one of the speeches last night someone said two very important, principled, and very skinny men came from Illinois: Abraham Lincoln and Barack Obama.

I think I tear came to my eye at that moment.
