Wolf Spider

I was reminded today that I've stepped on one of these suckers back in nursery school at the sand box thinking it was just another spider and I would be the brave one since no one else would go near it. These guys are pretty damn big, so it took some real effort to bring myself to do it, but there was no way we could continue playing in the sand with such a threat nearby.

I wasn't expecting the swarm of babies that would come after me in retaliation.

I have no problem with spiders now, but if I am about to put an end to one's life, I now first look to see if it's a momma carrying baggage, because that shit freaked me the fuck out for life.

I still shudder and squirm in my seat looking at the picture to this day.
