Attention you comic/action geeks

...and I know you are out there reading this right now...

So, I was remembering either a live action or a cartoon superhero tv show that came on when I was a wee little thing. The only thing I could remember was that it was a guy who had a big ring on each of his ring (or possible middle) fingers. As he brought the two sets of knuckles together, locked the rings with each other, and chanted some words, his superpowers came fourth full blast.

Your job, should you choose to accept it, is to:
1) Name that character and his accompanying show
2) Find a clip of that character saying those words and activating his superpowers

Please note that corzican was able to use his ninja search skills and figure out the name of the character and where he is from, but it's still fun trying to recall this old shit on your own. I will give one hint, it's not Captain Planet in which the kids had the elemental rings. Nope; these were two rings worn only on opposing hands of the same hero.

Benji Grimm, who when he put the two halves of the Thing Ring together and said "Thing ring, do your THING!" (groan), rocks would fly from literally everywhere to turn Benji into the Thing.
