I keep forgetting about the midnight movies at Inwood Theater.

This month:

Jul 25 & 26 The Road Warrior
Aug 01 & 02 The Goonies
Aug 08 & 09 The Dark Crystal
Aug 15 & 16 The Big Lebowski

I have yet to see The Big Lebowski, and to see all of the others on the big screen again - woot!

Wasn't The Dark Crystal coming out in 3-D or IMAX or something like that as it heralds in the sequel that I keep hearing whispers about?

The Czarina and I will be at the Inwood tomorrow night: she's never seen The Road Warrior, and I've never seen it on a big screen. If the projectionist isn't stoned out of his mind as usual (I stopped going to midnight shows at the Inwood for nearly two years because of lousy projectionist experiences in five out of six trips, mostly because the bum had ripped out of the booth to get wasted in the manager's office), we'll see you there.

In that case, I will do my best to be there! I used to watch The Road Warrior quite often when I was younger, but like you, never on the big screen. Plus it will be nice to see you guys again.

In case you get this in time, you might want to mention that I might possibly be there in case she is able to bring along the bracelet that she's been trying to return to me. If not, it's not biggie, plus I'm still only 75% sure I'll be there.

I hate that I am going to have to miss out, but my head and jaw are starting to cause problems. I was going to just deal with the lack of sleep while at work tomorrow, but with a headache tacked on top, I think I'm going to have to pass. :(

Today is a few errands and then brainstorming/researching for my paper that's due this week. Tomorrow is working, although I'm very tempted to still try for that midnight showing this evening.

Okay, I did go out to Pan. last night. I was hanging out with Randal and he fussed at me for not going to the Church's anniversary party. Apparently tomorrow night there are guest DJ's and ladies get in free. Do you have work or school early Monday morning? Or might you be able to go? I miss hanging out with you like that!

I'm really having to focus on class the next week and a half. Mon is a quiz, Wed paper is due, and next Wed is final. The paper especially is what I'm focused on now. I just can't really afford to be nursing a hangover for half of Monday, otherwise I'd be fine with going out. With my new work schedule I've also been having to go to bed at 10pm, which more or less screws with my ability to stay out much past that time on non-work nights.

Being an adult sucks.

Please put me on the distribution list for Dark Crystal and Big Lebowski. I haven't seen Dark Crystal (I know, its a travesty) and I never miss an opp to watch The Dude abide.
