Cue: The Girl from Ipanema

I'm waiting for the asset manager at BoA to decide if my house offer is better than someone else's offer. This may take a while. In the meantime, I get hold music. And curses - I will be going to an awesome estate sale Saturday morning in which I must remember to keep my wallet in the car. *sad face*

It's the little things

Description on one of my plumber's invoices:
"Hot water leak under house. Most of the cold and hot water lines are galvanized pipe. There is some PVC pipe that has been eaten by rats."

*giggles*

I'm suddenly picturing little fuzzy rats under the house going om nom nom nom.
"Oooh! My own water fountain!"
"Oh, yeah? Well, I've got my own indoor hot tub over here!"
"Indoor sprinkler system to cool us off for the summer! This place is better than The Hilton!"

It's seriously easy to giggle over this given my own own soft plush rat that's sitting on my desk. I can make him talk like a little puppet saying these things, and it's just adorably cute.

I may be going mad.
