The brain is not rocket science. Really, it isn't.

So, how long do you think it will take these people to apply these same techniques to, oh, I don't know, sight recognition, attention (and inattention blindness), emotional recognition, etc?

I predict the emotional recognition to be the last on the list, and not to occur for another 200 years at least, because that's what's going to throw the whole "you have a soul" idea on it's head. (I really can't wait for that to happen.)

This research, yet again ties into what I was saying the other day about theory versus actual laboratory proof.

So, our phone lines at work went silent while I was in the middle of a call with my Dallas office. For next few minutes no calls were getting any sound.

Then all of our Dallas and Fort Worth lines were bombarded by some number in Wichita, KS. I know this because we have phone recording which tracks all incoming calls.

9 calls at 2:31pm
8 calls at 2:30pm
25 calls at 2:27pm
5 calls at 2:25pm
