Family Fun
Dec. 13th, 2010 09:57 pmMy sister was given a date option for the c-section: Friday, Dec. 17, or Monday, Dec 20th. Well, since my sister's birthday is the 20th and she had already decided she didn't want to have a Birthday Baby, they've scheduled it for Friday. I don't think I have anything scheduled for Saturday morning, so it looks like Friday evening and Saturday morning will be spent hanging out at the hospital.
Why am I the one that mom is asking whether or not to move the playpen over from my sister's apartment? Yes, that's a rhetorical question.
The boys were playing while I was setting up the younger one's new computer. They were jumping off the bed and onto the stack of pillows on the floor. Unfortunately there was this thing called Big Ass Rocking Chair hiding under the pillows that the little munchkin decided to land his head on. Cue boy running from back room to me in the kitchen just in time to see thick blood streaking down from his forehead. I'm glad it wasn't a hospital trip - that's being reserved for Friday. He does have a ping-pong sized bump now, and little bit is worried that his friends are going to make fun of him at school. *sigh*

I will probably spend a few hours there at least and hopefully be able to get a good chunk of my gift shopping taken care of. They also have a great tea room for coffee and lunch (or lunch at Chef Point Cafe).
