This is my neuroscientific* take on ESP.

It doesn't exist. )

As a side note, I laid down to go to sleep some time around 10:15-10:30pm. I have been wide awake ever since, and the thoughts flowing through my brain has resulted in this post at 2:00am. Yep. This is the kind of torture my brain puts me through. Not the idea of re-hashing and re-thinking about concepts that I've already gone over multiple times in my mind, but the fact that I have to fucking type it out in LJ-land in order for my brain to let it go. Zombie Jesus help me, my brain wants me to become a writer or something. I HATE WRITING!

See previous post. Note the time of that post.

I woke back up at 4:45am with a MASSIVE allergy attack. I took a Claritin and a shower and was blowing snot out of my nose the entire time. Still sneezing and snotty at the moment. I wish I could take a Benadryl, but ironically that would put me instantly to sleep.

I already took off from work a couple of extra hours yesterday morning to get rid of what little residual pain I still had from a MASSIVE headache Sunday night, one that was so bad I ended up throwing up when my body couldn't handle the pain anymore. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a migraine, as it was double-sided, but to be safe I took a dissolvable Zomig, a Valium, a Benadryl, and Ibuprofen that evening just to cover all bases and make sure I could get a good night's sleep. To note that both the Zomig and the Valium cost approximately $20 per pill, I spent more money trying to guarantee a good night's sleep than had I just bought a bottle of liqueur and drunk myself silly.

Now I'm just sitting here at the computer and hoping that the Claritin kicks in soon. I'd like to attempt to get one more hour of sleep before I have to head to work. I would have called in yet again, except that there's work that absolutely has to get done by noon for people to get paid and a training in Dallas I have to go to after lunch.

Weeeeeeeee.
