After a day of packing, moving, plotting and planning, we have managed to relocate into our new sparkly work building. There's still some tech equipment to come over (or be trashed), and lots of sorting of boxes and stuff, but we managed to do it ourselves and be up and running in the new building in ~8hrs time. There was some extra hours put in before and after that for more general house cleaning and setup, but yeah, phones, internet, radio, and make-shift desks (read: folding tables), etc. were all in place in time.

My feet are absolutely killing me. Not my back or arms. There's a bit of angry muscles in my legs, but it's really the soles of my feet that are protesting the most, which makes walking a bit on the agonizing side of things.

We have an early morning tomorrow for our tech meeting. This leads to me question why my brain has decided that 3am during the night of rest and recuperation after a good dinner, a nice drink, and a bunch of ibuprofen and Valium would make the best time to be wide awake for good measure. My allergies have also decided to add a little splash to the late night/early morning party.

I'm hoping our owner shows up for our meeting in the morning. I'll have to talk with him about the great heavy wood executive desks he purchased for us. Executive desks are awesome...for execs, but they really provide little-to-no work space overall. At our old location, every office had to utilize a make-shift l-shaped desk by attaching a long folding table for additional workspace. Even the CSR chick who only had a front and back of a cubicle always had to go over to a table to do some of her filing work. I just don't think the desks are gonna cut it, so I'm going to propose a deal to him that if I can locate suitable l-shaped desks at approximately the same price he'll keep the other desks boxed up and have them returned.

Damn, I'm tired. Good night all.
