Decisions, Decisions

Trying to pick out a keypad for my laptop.

I purchased my laptop specifically so that it would be small, which meant no keypad. But I'm an accountant at heart and lack of a keypad is driving me nuts.

I'd prefer wireless or retractable wire, and I would prefer to NOT have the 00 key. I also don't need it to serve as a side calcluator, although that is a nice add-on, and I don't need a mouse as I LOVE my current mouse.

So, here are my top choices:

Targus USB Retractable Calculator/ Keypad

I also like the look of the Targus®USB Mini Wireless Numeric Keypad (4th image down), but I've only been able to find it on that site

Art Exhibit

I just came across Freesound.org while trying to look up a particular sound that a friend posted about.

A week ago I was attending the Late Night event at the Dallas Museum of Art. One of their exhibits was all about the effects of texture and touch. Yes, it was in fact a touchy-feeling kind of exhibit. Another exhibit was about the effects of lighting, with various rooms flooded with certain lighting effects, including a huge walk-in kaleidoscope that the ushers will quickly shoo you out of if you try to touch it, even though I'm pretty sure that the artist of this piece thoroughly expects human interaction.

This web site makes me wish they also had a sound exhibit. I mean, how often do you really think about how things sound?
