PlayAnywhere
The Vision - adds more to the video at the end than the PlayAnywhere video
3-D Task Manager

I still get a kick out of watching videos for Real Desktop and other 3-D desktop programs that are available. While basic and simple, this video still has an interesting way of showing off a couple of features, especially the aspect of having to practice using it in order to use it well. Now I just need to get some video glasses so I can hook my own system up with something like this

I've picked out some digital voice recorders. I'm just linking them here both for possible input from the peanut gallery as well as for a convenient location for me to reference back to. I think you can tell sort of what I'm looking for. I'd like something that will fit in my purse easily and I'm still indesisive as to how much functionality I want on it, but I do have a $100 limit. So far, I haven't even used my Samsung 2GB MP3 player, and I've had it for about 2 years now, although I think with access to Pandora online and my OCD obsessiveness with getting all of our (the commune's) mp3s in order, I'm not surprised myself that I haven't gotten that bad boy set up yet.

I don't currently have any means of instant or planned video recording short of borrowing my mom's camcorder. However, I find that it's very rare that I ever get the urge to capture video to share with others. Still, the 6-in-1 camcorder does still look very nice.

I know, before you start preaching at me, that I could always get something like an iPhone (although I'd go for an iPod Touch before the iPhone) which would probably have all the functionality of these gadgets along with combined PDA apps, but I like having lots of various gadgets. Indulge me, damn it.

Olympus 64MB

Mustek 6-in-1 Camcorder
Keo 4GB multimedia
Curtis 1GB
Colby 1GB
2GB credit card-sized video player

This is way out of my price range, but I still wanted to include a link to it:

Damn, I'm caught in the ThinkGeek Black Hole of Doom(tm) and I can't get out!

Pico USB Flash Drive
Ball Bearing Magnetic Accelerator (and I've already shown [livejournal.com profile] koed this, so you better be on your best behavior for the next game)
Bluetooth Retro Handset
Annoy-A-Tron
Bluetooth Laser Virtual Keyboard
Video Watch (did we not learn our lessons about geeky calculator watches?)
Geeky Wrapping Paper
Tetris Puzzle Magnets
Titanium Spork (because no cop would ever believe you actually stabbed someone with a spork)
Marshmallow Assault Rifle
Laboratory Beaker Mug
Jellyfish Mood Lamp (although I think it would be awesome if they had the ACTUAL movements of jellyfish, but this is still impressively close
Pirate Mug
Pirate Playing Cards (anyone that knows me knows I have an OCD fascination with playing cards - these just might end up in the collections here shortly)
Bone Chillers Ice Tray

I'm only linking this one because of the line that broke the geeky brain:
After all, here at ThinkGeek we think it's critical that you understand what happens when you drink and derive...

In a late response to [livejournal.com profile] flemco's rant on porn, I have to say I really am not much into watching porn. I think I have all of three or four porn pics on my computer and a couple of pics of naked friends, and that's about it. However, that doesn't mean that I don't find naked bodies attractive. I think most porn is cheesy crap and I can think of better ways to occupy my time, like actually having sex instead of vicariously watching someone else having sex.

Needless to say, in direct response to [livejournal.com profile] flemco's post, I proudly share my favorite porn site, as I didn't see in in the primary comments to his post.

Obviously NSFW - Hogtied.com

And don't bother with ranting in my comments about it being degrading, etc, etc. I'll just ignore you. You are entitled to your opinion and I am entitled to my silence.
