no, no, no, no, no

I was fine and dandy when I went to sleep last night. I awoke early this morning to a sore throat that apparently decided to skip Go and go directly to Jail. I cannot swallow on my right side to save my life and it's already horribly swollen. I've never had this happen so quickly. The quickest has been at least a 24 hour notice from my body that there is a strong possibility of a sore throat.

My body still aches from Halloween, and given my sore situation, it's quite possible that I have flu-like aches creeping in as well since I actually feel more useless today than yesterday. I'm avoiding the thermometer, just because I don't want to know until at least this afternoon. I have to frantically finish up a homework assignment and get it turned into my teacher by this afternoon. Despite how much I just want to curl up in bed right now, that's simply not an option.

30 minutes later

I have come to the conclusion that I'm likely to do more damage to the SAS programs than to fix them as I really can't think straight and my fingers are too weak to want to type (I'm typing this by sheer will alone). I gave in to the thermometer and I have a slight temperature of 99.3, but that's enough for me to know I'm sick. If I don't rest now, it's almost a guarantee that I'll hit 101 by this afternoon.

So back to bed I go. Man this really sucks as I really did want to get that homework turned in by today.

I lost

My temp hit 101 at 5pm. The worst part isn't the temp or the body aches but the pounding that the blood does through the blood vessels in my head every time I move. Come to find out my whole family is sick, so I have them to blame. I just hope I don't get the roommates sick.

I'm going to have to break my plans for Saturday night seeing as how I'm still running temperature right now. I have a feeling lots of sleep will be on the agenda. Sunday I may have to stay at my parents' if this doesn't clear up by then so that we can have company.
