My computer decided last night to crash and pretend that it no longer had booting information. I was up until 2pm while
corzican worked on it. Apparently he was having trouble sleeping, which was fortunate for me. He was finally able to get it to reboot to Windows and I lost a couple of non-essential files in the crash. I had a sleepless night and woke up just in time to grab a shower and go to work. My to-do list is completely unfulfilled. It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that most of those items are time-sensitive or past due. Today is still year-end hell at work. Tonight will be spent backing up personal files onto my secondary hard drive. I need some toothpicks to hold my eye lids open.

I don't feel bad for anything I do to her
Jan. 4th, 2007 02:47 pmI just LOVE it when my own boss trivializes my job duties while we are meeting with the executive. I especially find it interesting when it's during a meeting that I called so that I could explain to him that I found an error with how we sell childcare in the AS/400 system that is currently costing them around $1000 a month in income and $1000 a month in subsidies. I find her $24k a year and near the end of the meeting she proceeds to trivialize my year-end duties. If I felt any guilt before for "tattling" on her for not kicking kids out of the program and letting account balances run up sky high, it's all completely gone now.
EDIT: I just found another $5k for this this week. We are officially starting off the year at a surplus because of my boss's budget error. I rock!
