I have a hard time believing that the remake will be as good as the original, however, I see two things going for it. First, I really want to see Sean Bean as John Ryder. Second, from the preview it's obvious that they kept the 18-wheeler scene. If you haven't seen the original, then I don't want to spoil it, so I'll just leave it at that. I can still recall exactly how my heart was thumping out of my chest during that scene. I'm very curious to see if the remake can pull it off, although I really doubt it.

My biggest worry is that it's just going to suck ass as a movie made for glitz and lack of imagination to come up with something original.

My goal is to actually find and sit through Future Kill. I have the poster. I've had it for years. Without ever seeing the movie I already agree with one commenter on imdb when he says that the movie is "A Death-Trap With Giger as Bait." But how can I resist a movie whose plot line reads, "a story about frat boys lost in the big city while hunted by a violent leader and his elite gang of gun-happy guards." I'm sure the frat boys will win, but I'll be rooting for the mutants.
