Pumpkin Pie


They all smell so wonderful. I may end up with a serious coffee high today just so that I can try all of the flavors. First up - Creme Brulee.

It got worse?

My coworker who went into the hospital for E. coli is back at work and doing well. That's the good news.

Just a minute ago my boss received a frantic and screaming call from her saying that she's just been in a car wreck. My boss immediately called 911, told me very briefly only that much, and then ran out the door to go and meet with her.

I also just read an email announcing that our Metro Office Controller, whom I partially helped train and worked closely with, passed away last night from pneumonia-like complications.

This was all in a matter of a couple of minutes, and I still haven't heard back yet from the boss on the car wreck situation. I only know that she left a few minutes ago heading out some some schools that require taking the freeway to get to. *crosses fingers that everyone involved is ok*
