Apr. 21st, 2006 03:01 pmEven when I think I'm home, I still have many thoughts that I'm not happy, or not where I should be. I think everyone goes through bouts of that. We think that happiness is supposed to suddenly hit and never leave again as though there's some magical point that you can reach and then just sit back and bask in the "happiness sun". But I don't think that's the reality. I think it goes in cycles, like the yin-yang.
There's nothing unusual or wrong about not feeling happy in your surroundings, even when you know those same surroundings made you happy yesterday and will probably make you happy tomorrow. Today's just a different day. Take it for what it is and don't expect it to be something it's not.
