Aug. 28th, 2005 10:35 amI really hate passing these things on. I usually hate getting them in the first place. But considering that I was born and raised in Fort Worth and have an Australian living with me, I thought I just might share ( this one. )
Anyone writing out a sentiment about Texas like that always comes off a bit pompous. I've had to grow up with that my whole life. This is why the red-necked Texan will never leave, will never seek a worldly experience, and will always think yee-haw and ya'll are the two greatest words ever in the English language.
